The Caran d'Ache Neocolor II 10 Set Dark Colors set features 10 water-soluble wax pastels, including three exclusive new colors: Zinc Ochre, Dark Garnet, and Caput Mortuum. These rich, earthy tones are ideal for creating depth and contrast in your artwork, perfect for dramatic landscapes, shadows, and underpainting.
The set includes the following colors: Zinc Ochre, Dark Garnet, Caput Mortuum, Payneโs Grey 70%, Sepia, Olive Brown, Brown, Crimson Alizarin (hue), Moss Green, and Grey. This palette offers a range of dark, muted tones suitable for adding dimension and intensity to your pieces.
For use, apply the pastels dry for bold, textured lines. Use a damp brush to blend and create smooth transitions, achieving deep, atmospheric effects. These pastels are suitable for use on various surfaces, including heavyweight paper, canvas, and wood panels.
